I attended Moet & Chandon`s A Tribute to Cinema party on Tuesday evening at big sky studios in London with Marc Newson. This was the official launch of Moet`s new campaign with actress Scarlet Johansson who`s glamorous image really does seem to pay tribute to the good old days of Hollywood divas. It`s good to see a brand like Moet showing everyone it`s fine to have a good time during these miserable times, they been around for a while and have seen plenty of world crisis before, so we should listen to the experts outside of the banking world and drink up.
今週の火曜日に、インダストリアルデザイナーであり友人のマーク・ニューソンとロンドンのビッグ・スカイ・スタジオで開催されたモエ・シャンドンの”Tribute to Cinema”のパーティーに参加してきました。これはモエ・シャンドンの新しいキャンペーンのローンチで、ハリウッド女優のスカーレット・ヨハンソンがキャンペーンのフェイスとして任命されました。彼女のグラマラスなイメージは、歴代のハリウッド女優に劣らないものでした。こんな歴史的不況の最中だからこそ、シャンパンを飲みながらこの哀れな状況を少しでも明るくしようと世界の人達に伝えているモエを見て嬉しく思います。彼らも数々の不況を経験してきているだけに、危機的状況をいかに楽しく乗り越えるかの知識に長けているはずだから。我々も金融業界以外のこういうエキスパートに耳を傾けるべきですね！
Concours D’Elegance Roppongi Hills March 20th – April 12th

It’s a real honor for me to see my 1990 Aston Martin Virage on display at the Concours D’Elegance. Believe it or not, the exhibition is actually on the 52nd floor of Roppongi Hills tower!
Although my Aston Martin may not be the rarest model there, it is however the only Aston Martin in the world that’s painted in this original green colour, (which was exclusively created by Marc Newson).
The impressive collection of classic cars assembled is well worth a visit for anyone interested in beautiful design. The Concourse D’Elegance is produced by Paul Goldsmith and is now in its 2nd year.
Coca Cola Zero “Wild at Heart”

March 21st 2009 is the launch of the new TV campaign for Coca Cola Zero with J-League. I’ve written the campaign song called “Wild at Heart” and I think this is going to be a massive success. A chakuta version of the song will be available from March 23rd exclusively on music.jp

Lunch at my house, with Dom Perignon chef Pascale Tingaud

It’s not often you get the opportunity to have a master Chef from the Dom Perignon Chateau cook at your house, in your own kitchen, using your pots and pans, for 12 good friends. Well it happened to me and needless to say, it was truly amazing!
Chef De Cuisine Pascal Tingaud prepared a culinary delight consisting of five courses that were perfectly complimented by three different kinds of Dom Perignon, Vintage 2000, Oenthque 1995 and Dom Perignon Rose.
The highlight of the day for me was accompanying Chef Pascale to Tsukiji fish market to purchase the ingredients and seeing his face light up when choosing the fresh fish; it was like taking a child to a candy store and telling them, “to take whatever you want”!
