I’ve just back back from Guangyo in China to attend the Hennessy Artistry annual event. It was quite an amazing production with over 3,000 guests and a great musical line up from China, Korea and the USA including Kelly Rowland from Destiny’s Child
It’s hard to believe it’s nearly six months since Richard Geoffroy, Chef De Cave of Dom Perignon was in Tokyo last, but last week he was back on great form giving another tasting at Amore in Aoyama. This time we experienced the 2000 Vintage, the 1995 Oenotique and the 1975 Oenotique, needless to say it was an incredible evening and Richard’s words of passion and his fine product are something quite out of the ordinary.
I’ve just recorded brass on one of my new songs with baritone legend Ronnie Cuber who arranged the brass section for Kenny Rampton on Trumpet, Brandon Wright Tenor Sax and Clark Gayton on Trombone. I recorded these amazing musicians at Sears Sound NYC which is the oldest studio in Manhattan with the most incredible vintage microphones.
I attended this years Victoria secrets show with special guests black eyed peas and some of the best bodies in the business. As you can see, I was seated on the 4th row which was close enough to feel the heat from those hard working bodies.
I received a lovely gift from my friends in Kyoto who own the shop Tessai-dou, the most amazing Mamezara shop ever! This beautiful gift included hand made fresh soba, beautiful hashi and a fresh piece of Kyoto daikon, there is even instructions from the soba master how long to cook the noodles, only 30 seconds!
My Yamaha C3 Grand Piano finally came back from storage and delivered to the 3rd floor of Syn yesterday. The delivery boys were absolutely amazing, they really have it down to a fine art. We stopped the traffic and our favorite Bazar mannequin hooker came to see if there was any business.
